Mga Ritmo ng lahiThe National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the Maharlika Artists and Writers Federation (MAWF), an association of artists and writers from the different regions of the country, in collaboration with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), different local government offices in Metro Manila and GMA-7 Network have organized the twenty (20)-day series of free concert tour entitled "Mga Ritmo ng Lahi" featuring Mr. Emil Sanglay, a multi-awarded composer-singer-arranger of the Metropop Festival and representative of the Philippines in the 2nd ASEAN Amy Festival held in Thailand, which will be held from the second week of June to September 2012.
Heroes Square, A Field Trip Venue
The Heroes Square Heritage Corporation announces the Heroes Square as a field trip venue for School Year (SY) 2012-2013. Heroes Square transformed various sites inside Intramuros, Manila into "encounters" / "experiences" to bring Filipino history, heritage and heroism to life. Through brief multi-sensory and multimedia presentations, students are involved as part of the encounters and not just as mere audience. These encounters include street plays and living theater-musical performances, audio-visual experiences, and other media.
